Investigation: What is true beauty?

"Beauty is not in the face, beauty is a light in the heart."
What is beauty? Is it something that can truly be defined? Is it in the eyes, your smile, your personality? The question of 'what true beauty is' is one that has been around for centuries. In every culture beautiful women are different. Beauty is defined by so many different aspects of a woman... how can we truly know if someone is beautiful? The simple fact that their are so many different definitions and cultural views of beauty shows that beauty can never be defined simply by outer qualities. So what is it? How can we ever define beauty if it is different from culture to culture?
It's in the heart. "Beauty is not in the face, beauty is a light in the heart." It's what your mother always told you right? Beauty is more than skin deep, you must be beautiful on the inside and out.... But what does that mean?
A beautiful person is one who gives, someone who cares about others, a person who loves and lives life fully. When someone is beautiful they say it's in their eyes because their passion can be seen there. A beautiful person is one who sees the beauty in our world. The little things are big things! What types of little things are you thankful for? Who do you care about? Who are the people in your life that you truly love? These are the questions that define a beautiful person.
Your apreciation for the little things will be evident, the care you give to others will be seen, your love will be valued, and as you continue to live with care and compassion, with love and appreciation for the world around you your beauty will shine through.
Beauty is truly a light in the heart! How brightly is your light shining today?
